Overview

This policy explains what information Nous collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the service and we do not sell your data.

Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email, and authentication identifiers.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment metadata, handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Connected accounts: access tokens for the repositories and platforms you connect, stored encrypted.
• Generated content: the artifacts you create and the inputs you provide.
• Usage data: logs and analytics about how the service is used, to keep it reliable.

Your repositories and source code

When you connect a public repository, Nous reads it to build a working description of your product. We do not store a copy of your source code. The context we build is ephemeral and used only to generate your launch artifacts. You can disconnect a repository at any time.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• To generate the launch artifacts you request.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account and important changes.
• To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues.

AI processing and third parties

Nous uses third-party model providers to generate content. We send them the inputs needed to produce your artifacts. We work with providers that offer appropriate data protection terms, and we do not permit your content to be used to train third-party models where that option is available to us.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by contacting us. You can also revoke any connected account at any time.

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest and limit internal access on a least-privilege basis. For details on how we protect your code and data, see our Security page.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service, plus limited analytics to understand usage. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by email.
